Rabbi İbrahim'e: “Bana teslim ol” dediğinde; “Bütün alemlerin Rabbine teslim oldum” demişti.

Rabbi ona, "İslâm ol!" emrini verince, o "Ben âlemlerin Rabbine teslim oldum." dedi.

Rabbi ona: «(Kendini Hakka) teslim et» dediği zaman o, «Âlemlerin Rabbine teslim oldum» demişdi.

Bir zaman Rabbi ona: “(İhlâs ve îmân ile emirlerime) teslîm ol!” buyurduğunda, (o da:) “Âlemlerin Rabbine teslîm oldum” demişti.(2)*

Hani o vakit ki İbrahim'e Rabb-i Kerîm'i «İslâm ol!» dedi. O da, «Alemlerin Rabbine teslim oldum (ümurumu O'na tefviz ettim)», dedi.

Rabbi ona: “Kendini canı gönülden Hakka teslim et! ” deyince o derhal: “Âlemlerin Rabbine teslim oldum” demişti. [6, 79; 16, 120-122; 11, 7]*

Behold! his Lord said to him: "Bow (thy will to Me):" He said: "I bow (my will) to the Lord and Cherisher of the Universe."

When his Lord said unto him: Surrender! he said: I have surrendered to the Lord of the Worlds.
